At Glad Tidings Community Church, we believe that parenting is one of the most meaningful—and challenging—callings in life. Baby dedication is a special moment where parents commit to raising their child in a Christ-centered home, asking for God’s guidance and the support of their church family along the way. While the Bible doesn’t require us to dedicate our children, we do see beautiful examples of it in Scripture (like Hannah dedicating Samuel in 1 Samuel 1) and we wholeheartedly encourage it as a way to start your parenting journey with purpose and prayer. If you’d like to dedicate your child, we will set aside a section of one of our Sunday services to celebrate and we encourage you to invite your family and friends to witness!
